Designed for the employees of Old Elk Bourbon, the mock-bar holds space for testing and creating cocktails, meeting with distributors, and visualizing the display of their products and bottles. The behind-the- scenes foundry welcomes innovation and experimentation, while also adding a charming character to the workspace. This unique amenity serves as a creative platform for problem solving and product usage while also adding visual interest to the work setting.  Employees and guests are welcomed by layers of rustic elements, sleek metal surfaces, and warm expressive lighting. The depth of the space is well-appointed with quality and craftsmanship, illustrated by the whiskey barrel stave design on the base of the bar, the smooth steel trim, and the antiqued mirrored glass.

“Sometimes designers get kind of niched into one thing that they’re really comfortable doing. The great thing about Salt Design is that they can move in and out of any project and maintain a high level of quality from resorts to retail to bars to tasting rooms. The Salt Design team can do many different things really well.” — Anthony Terrazas, brand manager, Old Elk Distillery
