This quaint residence in Louisville, Colorado was a collaboration of revered nostalgia and restoration. The 1909 home was built by the Fabrizio family of Louisville, one of Louisville’s first Italian families. The renovation of the historic home was a time-honored approach, with attention to accessibility, customization, and coziness. Classical elements are showcased throughout the house, provide modern conveniences in a traditional approach.
Tasked with preserving the historical integrity of a Louisville Victorian home while providing ample updates, the Salt Design team created a space for the homeowners that incorporated their values, their lifestyle and their desire to provide a space for visiting family.
“Salt Design surprised us with a few different things that we never would have thought of,” said homeowner Barb. “They thought of the fireplace, the TV armoire in the living room and the lovely downstairs guest bathroom that fits right under the stairway. They did so much with the square footage they had to work with and left us with numerous surprises.”
